I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports individuals and couples breakthrough barriers (such as anxiety, depression, communication, confidence, etc.) and live the lives they desire.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, Washington and Utah. I earned my Masters of Social Work from The University of Southern California with focuses on Mental Health and Military Social Work. During our lives we all need a place where we feel safe, comfortable, and supported. Having a safe place available to get direction we can make strides towards to the lives we aspire to. Sometimes that is realizing that we need to seek help from a third-party, non-judgmental professional to help build the tools and confidence to get there. Go2Therapy offers different service types and resources that may improve your overall wellbeing and self-awareness.
I am non-judgmental, straight-forward, warm and supportive therapist. I utilize empathy, compassion, and humor to help my clients feel comfortable and heard. Every individual is different. I adjust therapy modalities as appropriate to create individualized treatment plans. I encourage clients to advocate and empower themselves throughout all aspects of their lives by increasing self-esteem, setting boundaries, improving communication skills, and gaining confidence. I apply aspects of motivational interviewing, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral and solution-focused therapy modalities.
I do not accept insurance. Using insurance has risks and benefits. Well it may lower out of pocket costs, it typically requires me to make a clinical diagnosis. Those diagnosis become part of your medical record and could have current and future implications.
