About me
Taking the first step in choosing a therapist to partner with in helping you achieve the life you want can be scary but it is where the healing starts!
I feel that providing a comfortable and safe environment for people to discuss their feelings and thoughts about experiences, concerns and changes they hope for in life and relationships is important. We will work to help you improve skills, insight and awareness around the areas in your life you are struggling with. I have been a clinical social worker for 20 years working within a variety of settings including schools, homes, community and residential. I have treated diverse populations of children, adolescents and adults with co-occurring disorders. I provide virtual counseling services to adults, couples and children 16 and over in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
I have experience treating but not limited to: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, PTSD/ trauma, eating disorders, food addiction / weight loss surgery, relationships (premarital/marital), foster care, adoption, school issues, 504/IEP consultation, parenting support and military families.
Taking the first step in choosing a therapist to partner with in helping you achieve the life you want can be scary but it is where the healing starts. Let me be part of the journey with you. If you are ready or think you might be ready to start therapy please reach out and we can work together to help you achieve the life you want to live!
