Maggie Reynolds, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and am Nationally Certified and EMDR-Trained. I work with adults who are struggling with trauma and life transitions. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and in the passenger seat of your own life and empower you to heal and make desired changes.

I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to examine your past and present issues so that you can process them and heal, acquire or strengthen the skills you need to deal with life’s challenges, and create desirable, actionable plans for your future. In our therapeutic relationship, you will be the driver on the journey, and I will provide navigational tools, encouragement, and loyal company.

I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I'm human. I've been been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.

Growing up, witnessing the dysfunction of my parents' marriage and later seeing similar patterns in some of my significant relationships, I realized that I had to make changes. I wanted to stop silencing myself to avoid conflict and keep the peace. Therapy and EMDR, in particular, helped me work through relational and childhood wounds, become more confident to know what I want and deserve, use my voice, and take action that is consistent with my values.

My life experiences are what led me to become the Counselor I am today.
