About me

Hi! I'm Madison, a psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, life transitions, LGBTQIA+ related stress, identity work, relationship issues, women’s issues and career related stressors.

Life transitions can kick up many emotions and bring up feelings of anxiety, stress, or depression. You may be feeling disconnected from yourself and your loved ones, unsure of your true identity, or dissatisfied with your life. Many adults just starting out may find themselves questioning their purpose in life and re-examining what they want and who they are.

It can feel isolating and frightening to navigate these internal and external changes alone. As a queer affirming and culturally sensitive therapist, my objective is to reduce feelings of isolation and otherness. Taking a client-centered, warm and empathic approach I work with those experiencing relational issues, managing anxiety, confronting life changes, and exploring different parts of themselves.

I provide a safe space for clients to voice their needs, examine how they relate to themselves and others, and to learn adaptive coping skills. I use an integrative approach that includes psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and somatic experiencing techniques.Through our work together my clients feel more confident in navigating through life transitions and relationships, able to feel and process their emotions, and show up fully in their lives.
