About me
I am an experienced Mental Health Therapist who is dedicated to helping adults cope with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse.
My professional tenure includes 20+ years experience as a Licensed Professional School Counselor and Mental Health Therapist. I believe in supporting clients with learning healthy copings skills, stress management, forgiveness and increasing positive thinking. Using Cognitive Behavior Therapy, (CBT) I have worked extensively with special populations, that include incarcerated women, juveniles and children. My focus has included dual diagnosis, depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders and substance abuse.
I graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, from University of Phoenix with a Masters in School Counseling and completed a post graduate certificate progam in Professional Counseling from Freed Hardeman University. I passed the National counseling exam for LPC and currently working towards credentialing.
Improving self-efficacy is a major part of this practice. If you desire to improve your self-esteem, heal from past trauma and learn to honor your soul in a safe, non-judgmental environment, let’s talk.
