Providing teletherapy services across North Carolina and Florida for young adult and adult clients.
I fully recognize that finding a therapist can be quite time consuming & feel daunting. I have been a practicing counselor for 20 years. I provide teletherapy services in North Carolina & Florida. Some specific areas addressed include: increasing self esteem, decreasing self sabotaging tendencies and negative self talk/thought spirals, establishing & maintaining healthy boundaries, disentangling from unhealthy relationships, decreasing excessive people pleasing behaviors. I strive to aid my clients in identifying which choices, thoughts & behaviors have served them well & which may need to be reframed, redirected or just released.
I believe therapy needs to be genuine, adaptable, individualized & affirming of each client. A genuine relationship between counselor/client is a significant key to change. I am non- judgmental & supportive. I will appropriately challenge faulty or toxic thoughts/behaviors as they present.
I deeply value the role my clients allow me to have in their lives. I realize that change & growth are challenging and reaching out for help can create feelings of vulnerability. It's important to acknowledge there are times we all need a little assistance & perspective. This is a safe space to begin. If you reach out please leave a message.
