I have over 35 years of experience assisting clients to access their inner knowledge and wisdom for improved lives.
The basic truths I’ve learned about people are: each person is a unique individual, is attempting to do the best with their circumstances and abilities, seeks recognition and validation of their worth, desires a sense of belonging and purpose, and as an inner sense of empowerment and health that can be accessed. I am an actively engaged, compassionate therapist, addressing the difficulties of adult life: anxiety, relationships, marriage, loneliness, anger, depression, addictions, not fulfilling one’s dreams, coping with illness, loss and death, and struggles with creativity and spirituality.
I’m a solution-focused therapist who uses cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems approaches. Most importantly, I offer mindfulness skills to decrease stress and suffering, in the present moment , as well as to deepen understanding of mind itself.
