About me
I am passionate about my clients, empowering them to make positive, healthy decisions while walking beside them through their journey.
Hello, I am Liz Schillo. I have been in the field of addiction and mental health since 2018 obtaining my masters in 2020. I have provided services in a variety of settings: intensive outpatient, residential, group homes, school counseling, individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults. I bring a holistic yet eclectic approach to counseling, which means I will adapt my interventions to the unique needs of the client. I incorporate many modalities as I journey with the client through personal changes.
I have a vast experience working with both men and women, licensed professionals, LGBTQIA+, military and their families. Growing up in a military family, I understand the struggle of that lifestyle and have a passion for working with children and families to overcome the many transitions that we must face on a continuing basis.
To practice my own self-care, I have a goal of completing a 5k in all 50 states by age 50, I enjoy theatrical productions and the arts including studying piano and voice, watching sports, and playing with my dog, Gypsy. I am passionate about my clients, empowering them to make positive, healthy decisions while walking beside them through their journey.
