About me
Available to New Clients! Who Am I? I see families, couples, and individuals, ages 10 to 110! We all desire to be heard, to be seen, to have a purpose, to be known. I grew up overseas; I respect cultural differences. I know religious/spiritual abuse. I experienced narcissistic family members & religious leaders. I experienced divorce, remarriage, single-parent struggles; have learned to rebuild Family. I understand aging parent challenges. I am an LGBTQIA ally.
I offer a safe space of acceptance. My practice is viewed through a trauma lens, whether a one-time event or a life pattern. Trauma can be religious, psychological, or physical abuse by people we trust. I walk alongside you, working through the past, accepting the present, and discovering whole wellness for your future. If anxiety, depression, gender identity issues, church or religion mess, trauma, aging parents, difficult kids/parents, troubled marriage, codependency, narcissism, or a career change, I will listen to and challenge you to find your healthiest self. I offer an open mind of acceptance even in differences. (Georgia Associate Professional Counselor License # APC008076).
I have completed Level I & II EMDR Therapy, and am training toward certification. I find this mode of therapy most effective for any trauma-related issue.
I offer a 15-minute initial, free, phone consultation.
I take certain insurances.
I offer in-office and virtual telehealth sessions.
