I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice for 18 years. My practice has transitioned to tele-health only (video or phone). I primarily see clients for brief treatment often through their EAP (Employee Assistance Plan). Issues I often work with include: life stage adjustment, work and relationship stress, grief/loss, family challenges and managing health challenges

I enjoy helping clients work through whatever issues, stressors or life changes they are going through. I generally see adults, couples and seniors. I have found that telehealth is just as effective as “in person” sessions and make sessions easier to fit into clients’ schedules. I see some teens after it’s determined that tele-health would be a good fit. I enjoy working with people from many backgrounds and cultures. I strive to be a compassionate presence to allow individuals to tell their story, a supportive presence to help resolve whatever struggles clients present with. I help clients identify their goals and move through treatment fairly quickly so that they can get back to their everyday lives with new skills and new insights for a better quality life.

Making the initial phone call to schedule an appointment can be very difficult. However, most people start feeling less burdened and more hopeful by the end of the first session and find themselves looking forward to the next session. I welcome your call!
