About me
I am a mental health clinician with nearly 20 years of experience across settings, populations, and treatment models. I am a versatile and committed clinician to helping others overcome barriers, improve their lives and utilize healthier coping mechanisms.
I was born and raised in the Methow Valley of Okanogan County in Washington state as were many generations of my family before me. I moved to the Spokane area after graduation where I achieved my BA in Applied Psych and Counseling,Educational, and Developmental Psych. I began my career that same year and then while working returned to school and acquired my Master's in Social Work in 2011 from Eastern Washington University. I have worked outpatient, inpatient, residential, in hospital and criminal justice settings, and most recently I spent the last 8 years as a Designated Crisis Responder in my home county. I was the lead for our crisis team and a mentor to many staff. I developed many strong working relationships with area providers and will continue to do so and put those relationships to good use as I work for, and with, my patients to advocate for their needs and best interests. Therapy can be scary, it can be hard to walk the paths that cause us pain. Let me walk with you. Let me help create a safe place for you as you wander those wild places and find the healing you deserve.
