About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, treating trauma, grief and loss and alcoholism in women from an holistic, mind/body and energy psychology perspective.
Certified Energy Psychology Practitioner Level I, 2019, ACEP; Certified Meditation Teacher, Mindful Leader Institute, 2021; and
Certified Grief Educator, David Kessler. Certificate in Traumatic Studies, 2022., Reiki Master/Teacher, 1999, Therapeutic Hypnosis, 2000. Founder, CEO and Clinician at Elevate Counseling Services, Southeastern Mass. Serving Norfolk, Bristol and Plymouth Counties, since 2016.
Working with women experiencing trauma, grief and loss or alcohol problems, chronic illness, death of a loved one, difficult family relationships or childhood trauma are all life circumstances that I see daily. These events can derail you and cause you to lose sight of self, causing anxiety, depression, insomnia, alcohol abuse and relationship problems. I am so blessed and honored to help women find their way back to their center, their place of peace and their inner wisdom. It is in there! I am confident that with the right space, a connected therapeutic relationship, patience, kindness and practice, you will believe it too.
This is an exciting time in trauma work. We have the research that supports and empowers each and every one of us to take the time to take care of self, practice meditation, yoga or mindful movement, and utilize expressive modalities to explore self and try alternative healing modalities. It is proven: we can change or brains and reduce symptoms this way.
I am here to be "your person" in this work. I bear witness to your life and your story. I reflect back to you the possibilities that you bring into the space that you may be overlooking. I encourage you with a compassionate, kind and open stance to help you perceive and receive yourself and your life in more authentic and satisfying ways.
