About me

There is no such thing as a part f yourself that has no purpose and should be gotten rid of. Let me help you resolve that inner conflict and integrate all the parts of yourself.

I studied philosophy before I studied psychology. So, my approach is very socratic. The way I approach therapy is as an interviewer, where you are my subject and also the audience. Instead of trying to uncover some hidden truth for the public, my job, as interviewer, is to uncover hidden truths about you, solely for your own use. Like a good journalist, I will try to be as objective as possible. Not only will I dig up this new information about you, I’ll put it into context and help you see the subject, yourself, in a new way!
What you do with this new informative perspective about yourself is up to you. Sometimes you may learn that you like that part of yourself and don't want to change it after all. Some things you may discover you can't change, and I will help you accept those. What you can/want to change will take time, practice, and patients, but it can be done. I'll help you find and refine what works for you to change yourself. What this all adds up to is integration off all that is you, which leads to integrity, which leads to inner peace and satisfaction with oneself.
