As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am experienced in supporting individual adults and teens, couples and families with their struggles. I provide a safe and compassionate environment in which to explore the areas of your life that you would like to change and the places you want to grow. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, addictions and substance use, anger management, trauma recovery, and perinatal mental health.

I have many years of experience and training supporting individuals recovering from both substance use and other types of addictions, such as internet/social media addiction and gambling. Whether you are looking for support to reduce your use, better understand your relationship with substances or with the problematic behavior, or support to start and maintain abstinence- I can help you. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, non-assuming place for you to explore your concerns. I understand that there are many paths on the road to recovery. I am trained in relapse prevention, dual diagnosis, and in recovery maintenance. I will use many methods to support you in reaching your goals, including motivational interviewing to help you increase your ability to connect your drive to change with action; I use CBT and DBT to help you gain insight into behaviors, thoughts and emotions.

Using mindfulness and somatic awareness practices, we can begin to understand thoughts and emotions better and work to create change around how we encounter these difficult emotions and thoughts. Having a safe and secure place to grow your curiosity and clarity about who you are, as your true authentic self, provides relief.

I see clients in person in Los Gatos, or over video when preferred.
