About me
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure of yourself? Are you trying to gain your footing after a recent life transition? Are you curious about how your past is influencing your present? Is your inner critic in overdrive during this season of life, telling you to "just get over it and be happy?" This is where I come in! You don't have to do this alone.
It is my goal to help you feel koselig with yourself, amidst the difficulties of life. Koselig is a Norwegian term used to describe an all-encompassing sense of comfort one experiences when they feel “at home”.
Whether you are coping with a difficult life transition, like moving, pregnancy or postpartum, graduating college, switching careers, relational distress, or faith and spirituality questioning, chances are that anxiety is showing up in your life like never before. You deserve space to slow down and get more in touch with your emotions and needs, enabling you to feel koselig with yourself.
Hi, I'm Laura, Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) in the state of Colorado.
I know what it is like to feel “at home” or — koselig — with yourself. …And I also know what it is like to be on the other side of that — to be longing for that feeling amidst a trying season.
I'd love to journey alongside you. I’ll provide the hope, safety, and space for exploration; you provide the honest story. What we will find is a new version of yourself — someone who is more authentic + koselig.
My areas of specialty include: anxiety and stress, life transitions, pregnancy + postpartum, faith deconstruction, identity development, Christian spirituality, career counseling, depression, emotional regulation, Highly Sensitive Persons (HSP), self-care, family issues, entrepreneur mental health.
I also offer coaching and business consulting, which you can learn more about at my website.
