Dealing with life can be overwhelming when things don’t work out the way you want. Struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues or other life challenges can make you feel isolated. But you don’t have to be alone trying to figure out how to make things better. We can work together to help you take the steps you need to get on with your life.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who likes to help individuals deal with life challenges. I specialize in working with people who feel overwhelmed or stuck because of life unexpected changes. I help individuals figure out the root cause of their problems and learn how their past can be influencing their present. I use a cognitive behavioral approach with mindfulness techniques to help people become aware how their self-dialogue is impacting their emotions and behaviors.
I graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M International University. I obtained trauma training and experience working at a non-profit organization in Texas. I gained experience helping students at The University of Texas at Austin Counseling and Mental Health Center. Outside of private practice I like to enjoy nature and care for pets.
