I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in working with women on issues related to anxiety, work-life balance, parenting and life transitions. I also offer Christian counseling for those who would like to integrate their faith into their treatment.

I believe in the value of evidence based treatment approaches within the context of a strong therapeutic relationship. I am a trauma informed therapist who pulls from a variety of therapeutic models including ACT, attachment theory, and person-centered therapy. I believe therapy works best when we consider all of you, including your physical health, your emotional health and your relational health.

At a pace that is comfortable to you, we will explore your thoughts, feelings and how your nervous system responds to stress through the use of insights, practical tools, and in and out-of-session exercises. We will stay focused on your goals through the use of regular treatment reviews.

I believe that the therapist-client relationship is foundational for effective work. Therefore, I encourage clients to consider the first couple of sessions as a "test drive." If for some reason we are not a good fit, I will do my best to help you find someone who is. We may use prayer or Scripture and all interventions will be applied with a biblical lens. We can explore your relationship with God in order to further uncover His heart of compassion and love for you.
