Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist treating those experiencing depression, anxiety and symptoms due to past trauma, as well as a trained play therapist treating children 2 and up, working with caregivers to elevate disruptive behaviors and mental health symptoms.
I have been a practicing therapist for 5 years in the Oklahoma City Metro area. As a clinician, I use a person centered approach utilizing various therapeutic methods to address the current crisis.
Therapy is about you and your needs. My job is not to fix someone, but to partner with the individual, couple, family and/or child to a resolution that works best for their situation. I practice therapy primarily from an Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT) modality. The ACT perspective identifies values and uses mindfulness "here and now" thinking to assist in making value based decisions rather than reactive decisions.
In addition, I am a trained play therapist using Child Directed, Therapist Directed, Art Therapy and Theraplay techniques. I treat children age 2 and older who are experiencing disruptive behaviors and/or symptoms interfering with healthy development.
