I am an Associate Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping teens and adults cope with anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma.
Well, hello! My name is Kirsten! I am an empathic Associate Professional Counselor (APC) with a passion for working with teens and adults. I believe everyone has a unique story to tell. I strive to create a empathetic, creative, and loving environment to empower personal growth and understanding. You are the author of your own story! My role is to bring therapeutic techniques and an empathic presence to help you discover and create meaning of your story. I utilize a Narrative therapy approach, while also drawing from DBT, CBT, and client- centered therapy.
My specialties lie in working with individuals suffering from trauma, eating disorder diagnoses, and athletes in the realm of mental performance. In addition,I have experience working with an array of emotional and behavioral concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, low self-esteem, PTSD, personal growth, and grief.
I would love to collaborate alongside of you to create a safe space where an individual can express themselves most authentically. Your voice is heard here.
