Kirsten works with clients that suffer from trauma, drug addiction, personal relationships that are looking for help with their healing process. She is certified as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with 15 years of experience. She transitioned to working as a therapist two years ago. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing, DBT (Dialectical Behavior therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior therapy) and trauma work. She has significant experience working at a residential treatment center.
Kirsten was born in San Diego and attended University of Phoenix, receiving a BA in Human services and graduated from National University with an MA in Counseling Psychology, emphasizing in Marriage and Family Therapy. She enjoys meeting new people and is very energetic when it comes to helping people - this is her passion. She had help from many people throughout her own journey to happiness. She also likes to use humor to support people to feel comfortable.
