About me
I am an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people heal old wounds and unhealthy patterns so they can have authentic relationships and connections with others and themselves.
Clients come to see me because they are tired of putting on a fake smile and saying they are fine. They are exhausted with falling into bad relationships and wondering why they cannot have a healthy connection with others. They are tired of trying to please everyone else and feeling depleted and let down by people in their lives. They often feel like their life is not their own. Unhealthy relationship patterns are often rooted in learned core beliefs that developed long ago. Defensiveness, anxiety and shutting down during conflict are common themes when someone has learned unhealthy ways to behave in relationships. My work involves helping people understand the causes of these root issues so they can learn how to be authentic with themselves and this in turn helps them have true connections in their relationships.
