I have over 9 years of experience in private practice counseling individuals and families with a wide variety of issues from trauma, grief, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, abuse, cutting, suicidal ideation and attempts, separation/divorce, OCD, ADHD, Bipolar, family/parenting issues, adjustment, sexuality and gender identity questioning/transition, college life transition, and immigration among others. I am licensed as a professional counselor and owner of Beleza Counseling LLC in both Virginia and Pennsylvania.

My integrative approach utilizes a variety of therapeutic models including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and the use of Mindfulness. I offer both individual and family counseling sessions.

I graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in education and worked as a schoolteacher for several years in the USA and France then I completed a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cairn University in Philadelphia, PA. After working for five years at a private practice, I opened my own counseling center. I have also been a course instructor for over four years of both undergraduate and graduate counseling classes at both Penn State and Cairn Universities.
