About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who sees adults and teens (18+). I work with my clients to successfully address a wide variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, stress and women’s issues. I have specialized training in infertility and adoption. I use a variety of counseling techniques including CBT, mindfulness, meditation as well as other therapies. My goal is a safe, caring environment for your work to create the life you have always imagined.
I really enjoy my career as a therapist. I never take for granted the vulnerability and trust a client places in me as their therapist and will work hard to keep that trust and safety intact. Often clients feel stuck , that there should be more to life and that they feel a lack of purpose and meaning. Clients are often struggling with a particular problem or mental health concern but lack the education and healthy coping skills to overcome these roadblocks to happiness. I know it can feel intimidating to seek help but I want you to know counseling can be enjoyable and a positive first step to enjoying your life. Any of your issues can cause you to feel isolated and misunderstood. Counseling will help you cope during these emotional times. As you uncover self-limiting beliefs and behaviors that hold you back, you will develop new insights, skills and the self confidence to allow you to create the life you have always imagined.
