Greetings and welcome to my profile. My name is Ken Powers, Jr. and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Actually, I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in three states. I serve as the Director of Behavioral Health for a Federally Qualified Health Care Facility (FQHC). I am a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers through the National Association of Social Workers. I am also a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work through the American Association of Clinical Social Workers. The American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work states, "The Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD) certification is a national hallmark of quality practice, recognized by insurers, professionals, healthcare companies, courts, and consumers." I have many other credentials and accolades but it has been my experience that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
