Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced therapist who is passionate about joining with individuals and families in dealing with challenges and identifying strengths.
Hello ! I work to offer compassionate and empathetic assessment and therapeutic intervention for individuals, couples, and families seeking wellness and balance in their lives. I have extensive experience with children, adolescents, and families challenged by behaviors in the home and community. My approach is trauma-informed and focused on the strengths of my clients and their environments. This is your time, so it's important to use what matches with your needs. We'll look at how your strengths, situation, environment, and phase of life impact you. My tool bag has therapies including cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), systems work, and psychodynamic ("talk therapy"). I believe it is important to empower others in their treatment to establish and accomplish goals relevant to them. In addition to my degrees in education and social work, I have professional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and continue with mentors to obtain certification in EMDR through EMDRIA. I am an active member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and ascribe to the ethics of the profession.
