About me
I am a clinical mental health intern who has worked with children, adolescents, and families for over a decade with varying issues in learning disabilities, depression, anxiety and panic symptoms, anger issues, self-harm, and other behavioral concerns.
Do you believe in a holistic approach to wellness that better ables you to realize personal goals and strengths to living a fulfilled life? Often our physical, mental, and emotional symptoms may be providing clues of an imbalance. Using a compassionate person-centered approach, you will be empowered to explore issues and needs in a respected and safe space, while developing a deeper understanding of self and an awareness of strengths and resilience. As a registered SYMBIS facilitator, I also work with couples to explore a deeper understanding of self to become a better partner in the relationship. I practice trauma informed care and I am a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid trainer in the state of Virginia. I co-facilitate the Diversion program at the Center in conjunction with the juvenile courts services, and I continue to advocate for youth and their families in the local public school system. I am here to work with you.
