About me
Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Expressive Arts Therapist
I am a licensed clinical social worker and an intermodal expressive arts therapist, with over 30 years of experience. My clinical areas of specialty are sexual assault, domestic violence, crime victimization, and grief and loss.
I work from trauma-informed and strength-based perspectives. My approach is one of partnership with clients to explore areas of concern, identify internal and external resources, and create a path to achieve their goals. If a client is interested expressive arts may be used to enhance this exploration in a session. I am also available to provide expressive arts interventions for those who are working with a psychotherapist and wish to add that component.
I am licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia to provide services to those residing in Virginia. My sessions are primarily in-person.
