I have 30 plus years as a clinical social workers specializing in anxiety and mood disorders, women’s issues, adjustment struggles, grief and loss, premarital and marital counseling, family members effected by addiction, spiritual formation and church related issues. I primarily work with adult clients. I have extensively worked with young adults as they navigate the complexities of college and young adult life and process childhood traumas. I am specifically trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR 1 & 2 and Certified Clinical Trauma Therapy.

Life is filled with many anxieties, trials, traumas and obstacles which can create patterns that hinder us from thriving. When we experience trauma, our brain and body create adaptive or maladaptive patterns to cope with trauma. My goal is to partner with my clients to identify the problems; create effective goals; and process and de-escalate the impact of trauma on the mind and body. We will work together to increase healthy cognitive, emotional and behavioral skills in order to decrease symptoms and develop healthy coping tools. I provide Christian counseling to those seeking support from a faith based perspective. I love to journey with people to help them learn how to live free and full lives despite the traumas they may have endured.
My practice is designed to provide you the personalized care you deserve. By eliminating insurance companies that often dictate the frequency and duration of counseling, my practice allows you to receive counseling based on your level need. Counseling session are 60 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples. I am licensed in both Ohio and Indiana. I see clients in Ohio in person and virtually and virtually only in Indiana.
