About me
I am a Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping caregivers, mothers and neurodiverse families grow and thrive.
The therapeutic environment should feel welcoming and calm. I provide that type of space either in office, in your own home or even if you prefer to “walk and talk” for therapy. Meeting with a therapist should be a judgement free zone and I strive to bring that approach to the therapy room just as I do in my own home. I’ve had clients tell me they have been afraid to share certain things with past therapists because they worried their therapist would look at them differently. That should never be the case in therapy and I look forward to welcoming you with an open heart and mind. As a social worker in the community then healthcare system for the majority of my work life and then raising nothing but girls…there is not much that shocks me anymore! I enjoy working with caregivers of many capacities. Much of my experience has been around maternal/child health, neurodiversity and hospice care. I am passionate about the need to care for the caregiver. Caregivers are often overlooked, especially in the medical or mental health field, as much of the focus is on the “patient.” The fact is however that the “patient” is only as good and healthy as the caregiver and family/support system.
