I am an experienced master prepared coach, end of life doula, and dietitian dedicated to helping individuals move toward better self-care and living a life with no regrets. Kathleen is Trauma informed and uses a mindfulness-based practice from health to end of life work. I offer 1:1, education, and group coaching.

Kathleen offers a compassionate, mindful integrated approach toward healing, creating balance, and empowering a balanced healthy relationship with yourself and relations with family, parenting, food, and your body.

Kathleen is a Dietitian, Food Therapist, Lifestyle Coach, Consultant, and End of life doula and grief coach. She has over 25 years of experience coaching and helping individuals manage health and wellness through difficult transitions guiding self-care practices and offering skills-based groups and learning opportunities.

As a Transition, Loss, and Grief coach, Kathleen practices as a consultant and facilitator with the Institute of Birth, Breath, and Death. As a "death doula" and part of the Gentle Passage Doula Collective, regular offerings include grief coaching, holding space offerings, end-of-life education, end-of-life show host, and death cafes.

As the founder of NutritionWorks and the Trauma Dietitian, and long terms partnerships with Potentrx, Speck Health, the Dean Ornish program, the Emotional Brain Training Program, and the SPU counseling center, Kathleen's had over twenty years of training on a team of stress management specialists and therapists while offering services; facilitating groups offers a powerful and supportive way to develop a sense of community while learning new skills and coping with difficult changes.

Experience as a life coach, group facilitator, educator, and nutrition clinician has led me to the most profound and important work of my career – supporting others through life's transitions, challenges, and loss. I strive and am honored to meet you where you're at and hold space for what's most important to you. I am a guide and look to partner with moving you toward what you most need. My goal is to create a safe and loving space with no judgment, shame, or unrealistic expectations.
I hold a Masters in Science from Bastyr University and is an Educator, Group Facilitator, Certified Death Doula, and Life and Parent Coach specializing in Life’s Transitions through Grief and Loss. I am the founder of NutritionWorks. I supervise graduate students at Bastyr Natural Health Clinic and have served as Associate Professor in Nutrition and Human Development in multiple higher education institutions in the Seattle area. I have built a foundation of skills and tools of group facilitation, mindfulness, responsive education, and coaching that has led to the desire to be a healing presence for those experiencing transitions through loss, grief, and end of life.

I offer seminars and support for those in the industry, such as how other death doulas can support clients and families as they walk through their experience of grief.

Please contact for group, individual, family, and/or educational offerings.
