Let's talk about it. Anything! Therapy should be a collaborative process, where all clients are welcomed & affirmed, offered non-judgmental support, and provided safe space to learn, heal, & grow.

I’m so glad you’re here. Counseling is a collaborative conversation, centered around your best hopes for therapy. You are the expert on you! My role is to work collaboratively to uncover & support what will help you feel healthy, whole, and hopeful. I value your voice & feedback, and will work to establish a safe, trusting, therapeutic relationship. Whether you're simply looking for someone to talk to, maintain a healthy relationship, really struggling, or not sure what you may need, I’m here to be an empathetic listener and non-judgmental support. We can process through it.

All clients are welcomed and affirmed! Much of my experience comes from working with struggling & court involved youth (age 5 & over) and their families. Other specialties include life/role transitions, substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, loss, sexual health & sex positivity, emotion regulation, and psychoeducation. I also enjoy working with couples & families. Folks struggling with ADHD, substance use, nicotine dependency, neurodiversity concerns, or just feeling like you may not fit into expected roles or norms, may also find my lived experience relatable.
Additionally, educators, musicians of all backgrounds, adolescents, those struggling with grief (including pet loss,) women struggling with chronic pelvic pain/issues, or those with men’s issues may be comfortable with my approach. My background as a former educator for over a decade also created a special interest in life & career transitions, and career counseling at any age or life stage.

My theoretical approach is integrative of existential, phenomenological, and person-centered, which means my focus is more on you as a whole person, and how each individual experiences things & finds meaning; less on diagnoses. Some modalities I am trained in and utilize include Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Counseling, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI). I am also Level A trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), a Certified Nurturing Families Facilitator and a Clinical Trauma Specialist- Individual (CCTS-I.) My lived & clinical experience also allows me to offer various options & approaches for those struggling with substance abuse, such as psychoeducation, coping skills, 12-step, spiritual, and SMART recovery options, as well as harm reduction approaches.

I would be honored to support your mental health wellness journey and goals, so you can feel present in your own life again, and restore your sense of self, and soul. You are warmly invited to see if I’m the right person to support your journey.
