About me
I help people who feel not good enough let go of people pleasing and learn to love themselves deeply.
As a recovered people pleaser, I know know what it's like to feel compelled to put the needs of others first. As a therapist, I understand that this behavior is a coping strategy we learn when we are young, to get our needs met in families where the adults are overwhelmed, addicted, immature, or otherwise emotionally unavailable. Personally and professionally, I have discovered a process that shifts this coping behavior while healing the "not-good-enough" belief that drives it. I teach clients to re-parent themselves using the principles of healthy attachment - building self-trust, and self-love (esteem) through consistent acts of self-care, self-protection, self-kindness, and self-compassion. If you would like to learn more about developing an inner sense of security by nurturing yourself deeply, I'd love to talk.
