About me
Hello! I believe therapy can be beneficial for anyone. Trust, transparency, and communication are something I value, and I hope that you feel safe in a welcoming, non-judgmental, and encouraging space. My approach to therapy is utilizing social justice and non-oppressive lenses to provide safety for my clients. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive to all clients of diverse backgrounds. I enjoy collaboration with every unique client and their journey. I believe every client has the autonomy to heal and guide themselves, with a little extra support from a therapist. My therapeutic styles are Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, mind and body connection, humor, with occasional Art Therapy activities when appropriate. I hope you’ll enjoy getting a little playful with Art therapy and maybe some laughs! My goal as a therapist is to create a nurturing and supportive relationship to boost your growth and achieve your goals.
I’ve recently graduated from the University of Arizona’s Masters of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program. I am a Tucson native and can provide therapeutic services in Spanish. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, racial trauma, and self-esteem/confidence. I can’t wait to meet you and begin our therapeutic relationship!
