Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am an experienced licensed child and family therapist who has been providing mental health services across diverse settings to individuals, families, and in particular, youth for over 20 years.
I have 20+ years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults in individual therapy. It takes real courage when someone asks for help or looks for support and it’s a privilege to be able to offer my services and not a request that is ever taken lightly.
When working with youth in particular, one thing I know to be true is that young people are more similar than dissimilar no matter where they come from. They all deserve to be respected and feel valued through a collaborative process where they are the leaders of their sessions. I have had the good fortune of being able to learn this lesson and hone this skill across extensive settings working with diverse populations ranging from inner city Oakland to small farming communities to Pebble Beach.
While properly applied therapeutic interventions are imperative, what truly makes an impact is the relationship between client and clinician. For therapy to be meaningful and successful, finding the right fit is paramount. I invite you to contact me so that we can determine whether working together can provide this sort of match.
