Greetings,
My name is Joseph, and I am a clinical psychologist; I have been a psychologist for more than 25 years. I have worked with people of all ages, from early childhood to octogenarians, treating depression, anxiety, stress, and other psychological problems. I have specialized training in anxiety, stress, trauma, and abuse, as well as grief and loss. I have worked with men, women, and LGBTQ persons. Additionally, I have a master’s degree in Child Development. With experience in parenting and family issues, and expertise with Adolescents.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We will work together to improve psychological flexibility while working to discern what matters to you in your life and how to take committed action to achieve that life for you. We will utilize Mindfulness in our work together.
Each person is unique and has strengths and skills to create a meaningful and satisfying life.
We understand our lives through the stories that we tell ourselves or that others tell us about us; we will explore those stories together to learn which stories move our lives forward and which stories might hold us back.
