Jordan King, LMHC CCTP

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I have been working in this field for 5 over years and has experience working with marriages, families, adults, adolescents, and children. I currently specifically work with kids, male adolescents, college age men, adult men and families.

Jordan King has his Masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. He believes that it is very courageous for clients to take the necessary steps to better their health, especially their mental health. He is committed to working with clients to reach their goals, experience healing, and learn coping skills so that they can be the best versions of themselves. Jordan has completed further training to be a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), currently completing training hours in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as well as using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

He believes that our thoughts will eventually determine our behaviors. He uses cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, motivational interviewing, and family systems theory among other theories to help clients succeed in their initial reasoning for wanting therapy. As your therapist he will discuss with you and figure out what works best for you.
