About me
I am culturally humble clinical social worker who is truly honored to support pre-teens, adolescents, and adults manage anxiety and heal from trauma.
Hi! I’m Jonathan (he/they) and I am so d*mn lucky to be a therapist. Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time ever, returning after a brief hiatus, or are just shifting to a new therapist for a different ~vibe~, I am here for you.
As a person who has benefited from therapy, I know the importance of finding the right person to hear your story. As a former English major, this is what I find most important in helping my people: stories. What stories do we write about ourselves? Which of those are nonfiction, fantasy, or something else? When working with a client/patient/person, I tend to follow their lead: setting an agenda if they want more structure, let them just freely associate, or whatever combination of how they like to engage in therapy.
I am far less interested in diagnosing you and much more interested in helping you see where you’ve grown, what aspects of your life you wish to prune or graft, and how to continue to nourish the wonderful plant that is you.
