About me
As a dedicated Outpatient Therapist, my primary commitment is to foster a supportive and empathetic environment where individuals feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With a deep understanding of psychological principles and a compassionate approach, I strive to empower clients to navigate their personal challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals. In addition to individual therapy, I value the importance of a holistic approach that considers the broader context of each client’s life, including their social, cultural, and environmental factors. my role as a clinical therapist is to provide a non-judgmental and nurturing space where clients can achieve personal growth and healing. I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those I work with and to contributing meaningfully to the field of mental health.
With a diverse background in clinical practice, I bring a wealth of experience to my role as a clinical therapist. My career has been marked by a dedicated focus in ER crisis intervention, intensive in-home counseling for at-risk youth, and individual outpatient therapy. I graduated from North Carolina State University with my Masters in Social Work as a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Scholar and received many trainings to advance my clinical skill set.
Subsequently, I obtained my LCSW and have been providing individual outpatient therapy since 2020. I am grateful to have education and experience that has equipped me with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for my work in the field. Various environments in my personal and professional career have shaped my approach to therapy, emphasizing both evidence-based practices and a holistic understanding of mental health. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to advancing my expertise and providing high-quality care. My distinct experiences have prepared me to address a broad range of clinical issues, and I am dedicated to continuing my professional development to meet the evolving needs of those I serve.
