About me
I am a Mental Health Therapist who works with teens and adults. I help individuals find and explore the root causes of anxiety, depression, and problematic behaviors in a safe environment and at their own pace.
Beneath anxiety and depression, there is often significant trauma. I provide an environment where my clients engage with their life at a pace that is comfortable and manageable for them, while developing coping skills to alleviate distress in the present. My area of interest is in practical, evidence-based methods that can be incorporated into daily life (deep breathing/breathwork, gentle movement, creative arts techniques). I work with teens and adults, and offer anxiety coping skills groups. Coping skills that are unique to the client's interests and needs are emphasized.
I also offer faith-based Christian counseling per client request. Faith can be an essential support throughout the counseling process. Clients receive education on counseling theory and techniques, with the integration of faith as a source of support and inspiration.
