Jim Frost, M.A. Licensed Senior Psychological Examainer
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I have over 40 years of professional experience helping people with a wide range of problems. I can help with clinical problems such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD, as well as with relationship problems that occur in marriages and between adult children and their parents. I am also experienced helping people through common life challenges such as grief and retirement. I am also trained and ordained as a spiritual director and appreciate the opportunity to help others deal with conflicts around spirituality or just to deepen their relationship to the Divine.
I help people increase self-awareness, develop greater psychological flexibility, and make the changes important to their wellbeing. Making changes can be difficult without a full awareness of the patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior that contribute to the problem. Psychological flexibility is the ability to respond to situations intentionally rather than out of old repetitive habits and patterns. It’s all about increasing the choices available to you and overcoming the obstacles to be able to act in accordance with your deepest values.
