I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in working with female-identifying teens/young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and life stress. I use a hybrid model of telehealth and outdoor sessions.

Do you overthink social interactions and leave with a sense of anxiety? Do you struggle to understand what you are feeling? Do you have the "behind closed door" meltdown and feel like you can't confide in anyone? We do lots of things to cope with these overwhelming and confusing emotions- mindless scrolling, binge-watching for hours on end, putting ourselves last and going above and beyond for those we care about, falling into the never ending binge-restrict cycle, using substances, napping to escape, and various other forms of self-harm. I help my clients recognize, understand, and express their needs and pain. I assist them in feeling more secure within their bodies, increase their confidence, and teach them how to communicate needs/wants in relationship with self and others. To me, the therapeutic relationship is crucial. As such, I find showing up as my authentic self is what is most helpful to my clients. I provide a space to laugh, cry, yell, scream, and all the things in between.

I struggled immensely with anxiety and depression as a teenager and young adult. Because of my experience, I never want anyone to feel alone in their struggles. We are most alone when we are disconnected from our environment, our relationships, and ourselves. I wholeheartedly believe the outdoors and movement can foster much healing and growth. Strictly cognitive therapy was not effective for me, that is why I incorporate somatic based techniques, nature, and movement into the therapeutic process. I have extended training in attachment-based theory and ACT (acceptance & commitment therapy). I am trained in level 1 & 2 Brainspotting. Although I am not formally certified in Internal Family Systems, I incorporate exploration of parts into therapy. I am currently licensed in Utah and Idaho to provide clinical therapy to residents in both states.

We all deserve a safe and secure space to explore our inner selves, and my intention is for you to feel seen, heard, and understood. Starting your therapeutic journey can be hard and scary, and I never want my clients to feel alone in the process. Sound like a good match? Let's talk!
