About me

My approach is unique from most therapists. Unlike many therapists I don’t just want to listen to your story, but help you know specifically how to overcome whatever you are struggling with. One way I do that is by helping you identify your emotions and figuring out what they are trying to tell you. Most of our problems stem from denying our real feelings which leads to core social, emotional, and spiritual needs that go unmet. I truly believe that identifying these needs and acting on them is the key to individual happiness and fulfilling relationships.

My approach involves helping you gain the insights you need to change and what I have learned is that insights seem to be hollow unless it is followed up with action. I always aim to help you find practical application to back up what we figure out together that you need. Because change always happen in a split second (A moment where you gain an insight, or realize something you need). My main role is to help create many of those moments in therapy and then help you to act so that you see real changes.

In a nutshell, I don’t just want to help you find ways to manage your symptoms but want to get to the root cause of what is actually causing your problems and then act. Many times the root cause is related to self-worth and unresolved emotions from our past. I genuinely love people and realize that we are all different with a unique perspective, and have different needs, however there are answers that together we can always find to help you find balance to be your best self. I am big on creating a setting that is empathetic, healing, and non-judgmental
