Jennifer Watson, LPC

Jennifer is a trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ affirming Licensed Professional Counselor serving individuals seeking holistic approaches to healing.

Jennifer is focused on supporting clients’ achievement of personal potential through authentic healing and recovery. She approaches collaborations with adults from a somatic, neurogenic perspective, working to increase clients’ understanding and regulation of their systemic responses to the environment. Because she believes growth and well-being are best accomplished within safe, supportive relationships, Jennifer prioritizes compassionate connection with clients and builds upon their strengths, creativity and spirituality to design individualized, identity-affirming treatments.

A provisional Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Jennifer utilizes techniques from TRE, TEB and DBT with adults recovering from trauma, abuse and addictions. She is also EMDR trained, employing this and other therapeutic approaches to address depression and anxiety as well as single-incident and complex trauma. Jennifer additionally enjoys working with artists, performers, students and professionals seeking performance enhancement.
