About me
Jennifer Silvershein, LCSW specializes in supporting individuals who experience self-doubt, difficulty in relationships, anxiety, eating disorders and low self-esteem. Jennifer helps her clients to recognize and make the changes necessary to create a life they love. Through several years of clinical experience, Jennifer has found that therapy is most effective when grounded in understanding, collaboration, and motivation. She prioritizes creating a supportive environment in which individuals feel both safe and inspired to make powerful strides towards a more fulfilled self. To ensure Jennifer fosters a personal therapeutic relationship with each of her clients, she takes the time to fully understand her client's experiences, challenges and goals. She believes in the power of authenticity, and employs a direct, humanistic, solution-focused approach.
Jennifer is a graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her Masters in Clinical Social Work. Jennifer's practice is built on the belief that if you're willing to challenge your current way of life, anything is possible. She looks forward to the progress and rewards that lie ahead.
