Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been dedicated to helping adults and teenagers cope with anxiety, depression, workplace stress, grief, religious trauma, and life transitions.
My core values include vulnerability and authenticity. I understand that for others to come to a place of vulnerability they need a safe, non-judgmental space. Individuals and families may feel many different emotions when entering therapy including excitement, doubt, fear, or shame. Creating a positive, supportive, strengths-based, open therapeutic relationship can help ease some of those uncomfortable feelings and open the doors to true healing and well- being. I believe that by creating that relationship, you will find the answers you seek to live the life you desire. Individuals are the experts of their life, and everyone has the answers they seek, however due to systems of oppression, stress, and trauma, they’re sometimes unable to identify the root cause of what brings them to seek therapy. I want to learn about your life through hearing your experiences.
I have experience working with youths, adults, and families that have experienced childhood trauma and its effects throughout the lifespan, anxiety, depression, religious trauma, involvement in the Child Welfare System, grief and loss, difficult life transitions, survivors of Human Trafficking, domestic/intimate partner violence, homelessness, intellectual disabilities, young parents, work-place stress, and individuals of all ages who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I use a combination of culturally sensitive therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Client- Centered, Solution Focused, Talk Therapy, DBT, and Crisis Intervention.
The individuals I work with describe me as culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, authentic, empathetic, friendly, honest, straight-forward, inquisitive, funny, and passionate about what I do. I look forward to speaking with you to learn if I am a good fit to walk with you through your therapeutic journey.
