About me
Thank you for visiting my profile. Trying to find a therapist that is a good fit can be a daunting process. Let me share a little bit about myself and my practice. Currently, I work through the hospital's pediatric specialty clinic as their mental health therapist. I work with clients 5 years of age through adulthood for such things as anxiety, ADHD, depression, personality disorders, low self-esteem, etc. I use evidence based treatments that are practiced in session and used outside of therapy. These tools can help for example lessen anxiety, decrease depression, reduce negative self-talk, challenge dysfunctional thinking.
Therapy is a collaborative process where hope, trust and compassion should thrive in a safe environment. I practice from a holistic strengths based model, looking at the whole person in their environment. When working with younger clients, parental or guardian involvement is crucial for carry over. I offer positive parenting tools for parents as well.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call or reach me off of my website. Happy to help in anyway possible. Look forward to our meeting!
