About me

Despite their many successes and strengths, many women struggle with feelings of not being good enough and anxiety about their career, relationships, and future. My practice is dedicated to helping women stop worrying or feeling bad about themselves in order to live happier and more fulfilling lives. To accomplish this, I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices to help my clients develop new ways of understanding their inner worlds and to change their relationships with themselves and others. I aim to balance exploring the roots of your current challenges with identifying practical changes that will help you feel better and reach your goals.

Having a baby can intensify these feelings of anxiety or not being good enough. I specialize in helping pregnant and postpartum women navigate the transition to parenthood and in the treatment of prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety disorders. I also provide therapy to address the impact of infertility, pregnancy complications, and birth trauma. While many women experience not feeling like themselves during or after pregnancy, mental health treatment can help you learn new ways to cope with difficult feelings and thoughts in order to alleviate your symptoms and promote the wellbeing of you and your family.

If you need support with calming your anxiety, connecting with others, or improving your relationship with yourself, I can help. Together, we can develop a holistic understanding of your current challenges and establish a path forward. If you would like information on starting therapy with me, please reach out to schedule an introductory call.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician. I completed my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees at the University of Chicago. I have completed additional postgraduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Earlier in my career, I provided psychotherapy in a primary care setting to a diverse population of clients addressing a wide range of concerns and challenges such as depression, anxiety, traumatic stress, and complex health problems. I am also a perinatal mental health clinician for the Endeavor Health Moms Line.
