In life, we all have times where we think to ourselves in a moment of struggle, "I don't know what to do." Working through these experiences can be confusing, stressful and even sometimes debilitating. As a clinician, my goal is to help you figure out how these life stressors can become more manageable. Through my experiences as a social work professional the last decade, I have worked with many individuals and areas of practice. My specialties include anxiety, depression, mindfulness techniques, self-esteem, adults with traumatic brain injuries, behavior modification for individuals 10+, and young adults with Autism.
I will work with you to figure out what tools will help you ignite your strengths using a person-centered approach. I also believe that mindfulness plays a significant part in reducing stress and making positive changes. In your journey of growth, I will not only strive to provide a balance of support, understanding, and compassion, but also encouragement.
Virtually or in-office (Smithtown), we can work together to problem-solve and practice skills that will help you feel in control of your life again. I invite you to take the first step and reach out so that we can talk further about how to improve your quality of life.
