Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a highly experienced Licensed Psychologist with a background in leadership, supervision, and psychotherapy. I have been featured in dozens of TV, print, and online media outlets nationwide as an expert in trauma, relationships and family systems, healthy boundaries, anxiety, and wellness.
As humans, it is natural to experience periods of intense difficulty, particularly when feeling overwhelmed by competing demands or relationship patterns that are no longer effective. Therapy can be a resource to help navigate healthy and authentic relationships, restore life balance, calm anxious thoughts, and regain overall wellbeing. I believe that we teach others how to treat us, and that setting effective and graceful boundaries is an attainable goal. When emotions become overpowering, our tendency is to avoid them, yet they provide important information that can be used to inform and move toward the life you want to live.
I have extensive experience providing individual and couples therapy, as well as supervising fellow clinicians through their own growth and development. I am an experienced practitioner of ACT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based approaches for anxiety. Although my private practice focuses on adults, I also provide support around parenting challenges. When I am not working directly with individuals and couples in my private practice, I facilitate clinical trainings, workshops, media appearances, and speaking engagements nationally and internationally. I am also trained as a yoga teacher and have experience working within multidisciplinary treatment teams including complementary and alternative medicine approaches.
