Jennie Kologe, LPCC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Jennie’s therapeutic posture begins with the understanding that it is sacred thing to enter into your story. As voices and demands clamor for attention seemingly now more than ever, she wants to create a therapeutic space that allows the noise to fall away and for your voice to be heard. Your life has such inherent value that it is a privilege to walk alongside clients who want to find greater freedom from cycles of shame and self-defeating emotional roadblocks. Couples and individuals can benefit from someone hearing their stories, championing them on toward freedom to be who they were made to be and to walk in peace in their closest relationships.
Jennie uses elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, striking the balance of mindful acceptance & hopeful change. She holds a high value for research-based methods of assessment & treatment and uses data-backed instruments like Prepare/Enrich for couples. She’s training under the Gottman Method for partners to find deep connection.
In her own (long) journey in counseling, she found she wanted to bring others to that same place of freedom. Outside the office Jennie and her husband are usually living up all Colorado has to offer, wrangling any one of their 4 kids, while sneaking in a few pages of the latest memoir she’s reading
